Today's the Day

Pin It Now!
It's my SITS Day! Your what day you may be thinking? My SITS Feature Day. For those of you not familiar, SITS is a network of over 40,000 female bloggers who come together regularly to communicate and support one another online. When I found the SITS girls last year I was so excited to join and not only discover new blogs to read, but gain interested and encouraging readers of my own. If you are a regular here at It Bakes Me Happy then you already know how much I love chocolate, baking, spending time in the kitchen and my family. So if you are stopping by for the first time, let me start by saying welcome and thank you. Now might I recommend a few posts to get you started, I mean drooling.

One of my all-time favorite recipes passed on by my great grandmother, Old Fashioned Peanut Butter Fudge

Sweet tooth aside I love to cook as well and who doesn't like to sneak in a few extra veggies here and there? Every time I make this Butternut Squash Mac n' Cheese it disappears!

Of course what kind of woman would I be if I didn't tempt you with a little chocolate? You need these Turtle Muffins in your life.

And for all of you fruit lovers out there I suggest trying this Apple Cake I made last year for my birthday, it is really delicious.

When I started It Bakes Me Happy three years ago it was to help me keep track of my baking and cooking journey, at the time I never dreamed that today it would have grown to include you all as well. I am so grateful to the SITS girls for featuring me today and of course to you all too! I would love to have you stick around and celebrate with me all day, but I know life is busy. So stop by my recipe archives or leave a comment to say hello, I am so happy to have you all here today… I hope you'll enjoy!
